Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site support of manufacturing test solutions to Contract Manufacturer (CM), in Penang, Malaysia.
• Act as technical focal point for New Product Introductions; implementation of new solutions, validation of testing process, support of stability improvements.
• Maintain and support factory test equipment issues to CM.
• Interface with CM & Global Test Engineering to resolve manufacturing test issues.
• Work with CM to resolve manufacturing yield issues when below target levels.
• Modify Test S/W for Engineering Change Orders, or stability improvements.
• Communicate at all levels within the CM and withing Tellabs management structure.
• Help facilitate test equipment and test solution transitions between CM locations as required.
• Drive engineering meetings with the CM and conduct test processes audits (PM, Spare parts, Software control).

Qualifications - Minimum Required
2-4 years experience sustaining manufacturing test solutions H/W and S/W for Telecom products.

Test Process Qualifications:
• 2-4 Years experience with automated Functional Test solutions.
• Working knowledge of Process Tests ICT, Boundary Scan.
• Working knowledge with Functional and System Level Testing.
• 2-4 Years experience with automated Functional Test solutions.

S/W Qualifications:
• Working knowledge with Visual Studio.net, C#.net, C, C++, National Instruments LabWindows/CVI, TestStand.
• Working knowledge with Asset ScanWorks and Goepel Cascon BSCAN tools. Asset ScanWorks is preferred.

Hardware Qualifications:
• Experience with sustaining support of telecom products that include but not limited to DSx, OC3, OC12, OC48, OC192, GE and 10GE protocols.
• Experience with optical level testing equipment and associated circuitry.
• Experience with Test Rack confingured with General purpose Test Equipment.
• Experience with GPIB, USB and serial port controlled high speed data.
• MUST be capable of board level debug and diagnostic to root cause.
