If you can work hard in a highly dynamic and demanding situation, we invite you to fill our vacant position as:Manager Production for rubber wood, molding, Finger Joint Laminating Board (FJLB), Doors in Medan,Jakarta.
 (Based in  : Medan,Jakarta)

Responsibilities:
  • Experienced in their field.
  • Assists Production Manager in supervising and coordinating Woodroom, Board Production, Finishing Line and Warehouse Sections to ensure maximum utilization of manpower. Machinery (including mobiles) and optimum usage of raw materials (including resins and wax) and equipment to achieve production target stock requirements and meet all orders on time.
  • Coordinate with Production Planning Team to determine production planning that meets market orders and stocks requirement in the quality, quantity and time frame as required by customers and internal planning requirement.
  • Trouble shoot process problems and implement approved corrective action.
  • Liaise with Purchasing Department and Material Resources Department to ensure availability of raw materials of the right specifications and on time.
  • Liaise closely with machinery vendors and the Engineering Department to ensure high uptime, to minimize downtime and reject rate of the plant.
  • Develop, coordinate and implement preventive maintenance, housekeeping and safety related activities.
  • Plan, organize, supervise, control / monitor and participate in the career development appraisal, counseling and training of staff.
  • To lead a team of Manufacturing Assistants to meet production KPIs e.g. output cycle-time, delivery and cost. These are not limited to communicate process changes and production KPIs to Manufacturing Assistants on periodic basis.
  • To collaborate and work closely with other department to ensure smooth execution of daily production.
  • To monitor Manufacturing Assistants attendance, attend to grievances, enforces disciplinary procedures, full adherence to operating procedure and maintain 5S in production floor as required.
  • Able to highlight and drive for Production Process Improvement. These are not limited to drive issue, provide solution and give constructive feedback.
  • To manage material flow, material usage and inventory. These include managing and monitoring production scheduling to meet plant objective and customer delivery.
  • Responsible for manpower and line planning, employee communication, preparation of report and line discipline.
  • Able to work cross-function with other department to complete a project/task. 
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferable Mechanical Engineering) / Wood Technical or equivalent.      
  • At least 3 - 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Posses Supervisory & People Management skills. Those who experienced in managing a team would be  preferred    
  • Able to work independently and possibility to work on standby.
  • Advantaged will be given to those familiar with Process Control & Instrumentation (theories / application).
  • Those with Safety, Health and Environment & Quality experiences can be considered.
  • Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent
  • Full-Time position(s) available.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Medan (Indonesia).
Working Hours:

Monday to Saturday: 8.00am - 5.00pm
